INFORMATION
A very important feature of the cattery is that we do not board dogs, therefore cats are not disturbed or frightened by barking. This is very important as although many cats will learn to live happily with their own family dog, it is a very different matter when dogs start barking in the kennels.
CABINS
The cabins are traditional timber clad waist high chalets with good insulation all round. The runs are 1m x 2.9m long, and covered for protection in cold weather. All cabins have sneeze barriers fitted. Extended play areas are being added to each run to give masses of space. Toys and litter trays are provided, as is cosy bedding with heat pads for extra warmth and comfort. Owners are encouraged to bring an item from home that will help the cat to settle in.
DIETS
Cats are given wet and dry food and we make every effort to make sure the cats and owners are happy. For cats on prescription diets, owners are requested to ensure they have left sufficient food for the duration of their stay.
HEALTH
Only cats with up to date inoculations for cat flu and enteritis and a vaccination certificate will be accepted for entry into the cattery. You must bring these documents with you.
